- My Password has expired and I can't seem to reset it.

Changing your expired computer password:

If your password has expired you can change this password your self from any internet-connected device eg. a colleague's computer or even your cell phone.

1). Go to: https://vpn.saeon.ac.za in your browser and you should see a login screen

2). Login with your SAEON username and expired password.

3). If all details are entered correctly you should see a message "Your password has expired. Please select a new one:

4). Enter a new password, and confirm the new password.

5). Click login to continue.

You can now close the browser and your SAEON account password has been changed.

Please note that it can take up to 15 minutes for this change to take effect and for you to be able to login to your computer.
